Nice trip, and thanks for the pic...I haven't been out in a while...and we like Cachuma! Have you tryed Lake Piru? Our dogs have fun there!

Enjoyed the photos - thanks for posting. Thats a great looking camping spot. The trees look like the live oaks we have here on the NC coast - am I close?

I can't get a human on the phone, and their website does not indicate: Do you know what kind of cooking fire is permitted; is there a fire ring or do you have to bring a gas grill? Thank you much.

I have no idea what kind of trees they are...but we are in California. I have been to NC OBX several times- LOVE IT. And I flew to Charlotte to pick up my dog from his breeder and got a tour of that area- and I LOVED IT! I think one day I want to live in NC!!
