Just got the sewer solution. On their web site they say you can use 1" PVC pipe for longer runs. Went to Lowe's to check things out the
hose connecter that comes with the sewer solution will not work on the 1" PVC pipe, but the fitting will work on the 1" CPVC pipe.
I am wanting to know if I am missing something are is it a miss print on the sewer solution's web site? I e-mailed them but did not receive a reply. Has any one used pipe for a longer run? If you have what type.
Thanks for any and all Information

I purchased an extra length of sewer solution hose,to use when necessary. It rolls up small for less space.

I currently use a 50ft 3/4" hose with 12 volt water pump I bought at Harbor Freight for $29. After my original Sewer Solutions locking ears broke. I built my own from the plans I found through this forum. See my signature for more info.

I used 1" pvc and found it too much trouble to set up. Plus the joint/coupler leaked. Yuck!. So I went to my local heardware store and bought some 1 inch clear plastic tubing that would fit the SS coupler along with a hose clamp and a coupler. Yes, it looks terrible while pumping the black water tank out. But I can tell when the tank is clean by viewing the tubing. It's easy to just coil up. Trying to store 30 feet of PVC was a problem.

when my SS "ears" broke I switched to a macerator pump and used the original SS hoses with standard garden hose fittings. they sell a 10 ft. extension IIRC.
and I hear that they have improved the ears but if I got another one I would get a 6 inch clear sewer extension and silicone seal it to the SS so that that would be the one continually stressed.

I bought a 1" spa flex hose from Lowes, 35ft. Tank empties twice as fast as it did with the 3/4 inch hose that came with the Sewer Solution.

I for one am not a big fan of SS, but use it when I have a long distance to reach a drain. Presently parked at sons farm, and have to reach 30ft and slightly uphill. SS does the job.
