The additional info from the press release makes me revise my earlier reading. It appears that they will, indeed, make diesel engines with Navistar for use in on-the-road vehicles. I seen no reason that could not include for RVs. In this case, it looks like they are cooperating so that they don't have to figure it out on their own.

I think it is a little early to draw too many conclusions based on this early insight into where Cat and Navistar may end up. However with the on-highway market only 10% of Cat sales and the RV application an even smaller part of that 10% segment you can bet they won't worry too much about it.
I can just see the future motorhomes with a big PowerStroke emblem on the side of it now. I knew that CAT would get it right sooner or later!
