you will probably have to replace the valve to be satisfied with the operation.

on the po po, just go to wally worls and get one of the flesible wands with the whirly bird nozzle on the end that you stuff down the stool. Put some water in the tank for a few days or hours to soften things up. Then clean her out with the whirly bird. Works for me no muss no fuss no snake oil

My personal advice would be not to worry about it.

Replace the valve for sure and then just use it. Over time it will dissolve and dislodge what's there - like everything RV it is best when used. Just keep some water in the tank everytime you store or travel. After all, it's only ever going to have poo in it

Many thanx to all respondents! 2oldman's advice is probably the most sure cure; however, the least desirable. Am definitely replacing the valve.

Thanx again;

1. Partially (1/2) fill the tank, let it sit for a few days.

2. Add some ice (2 or 3 bags) and drive it around to slosh the water/ice around.

3. Dump.

4. Refill 1/2 full and add a black tank product with an enzyme in it (there are many). Let it sit for a week or so. the enzyme will disolve anything left in the tank.

5. Repeat if required.
