You might be interested in the adventures of Charles and Arlene Corby.

I think there could be another observation out of this. Are people that want to camp but can no longer afford their massive RV's going to consider "for many" a move down into a pup?

Idavis0101, perhaps you are but a harbinger?

I'll be retiring next March at 50 years old and have every intention of PUP camping for as long as I can. I'm excited and can hardly wait to start my new adventures! Don't know how my Chihuahua will feel about it. He's spoiled and used to sleeping in a king sized bed for comfort.

We say do what works for you! We were on the road six months last year and will be seven this. We are covering fewer miles this year and staying longer in each place. We have a large pop-up (Fleetwood Niagra), which is plenty of room for us. If you wish to see where we've been and view pictures, check us out at http://johnjoan.blogspot.com

Be Blessed!

That explains it! He's from Houston... although I don't have a clue what he's talking to!

We have seen retired folks in every kind of rig that you can imagine. If it satisfies you needs, it becomes a part of your life. The great thing about RVing is that you don't have to explain why to anyone. I have seen CG Hosts in Folding Trailers.

That is exactlty what happened to us , we could not even afford our little 23 ft Class C and made the decision to "downgrade" to a pop up. The downgrade term is my wife and kids term not mine. They still are not completely sold on the pop up but are getting used to it
