Looking to get a GPS system for our 32ft class C.
Wondering how they will work.
Any problems?

Gps in Class C.

GPS 'system' is redundant.

Most newer GPS will work OK in a Class C MH. To get best reception I have added a Remote GPS Antenna. Never loose signal except in a tunnel. Not all GPS's have a place to plug a remote antenna. Garmin does.

We used one when we had a 31' class C with no problems.

We have a Garman 330 which is a cheap one and it does great. Never have loss a signal as long as I stayed out of tunnels. The best thing I have bought for traveling or even local outings.

GPS receivers vary in performance. Even in the Garmin lineup of products, there is a difference. Having owned 2 Street Pilots, the newer high sensitivity SiRF receiver is heads and shoulders above the older conventional technology. I've had reception indoors, without an external antenna. The overhang of the cabover is simply, no issue.

We have the Garmin 340 and had no problems using it in our Lexington GTS. We went from NY to AZ.

Garmin Nuvii 660 works great and just sits on the dash. On a few rare occassions in did give me a longer route so it doesn't hurt to review the route with a map.

Nuvi 680 here. No external antenna, and it works great on the "bean bag" dash mount. Love it. Use it in all of our vehicles.
