We'll be spending 1 night at a park just down the road. Shortly after that, we're going to Jellystone Camp Luray, which is maybe 2 hours away.
This fall, we'd like to go to the rat's nest, er, Disneyworld Fort Wilderness.
I'll take it to the Mopar show in Carlisle and the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, OH while towing the Road Runner.
Those are the only currently planned trips. I have to make a beach trip sometime soon.

Oh, when I started looking at MHs, I wanted bunkbeds and the ability to tow over 6000 pounds. Newmar was really the only one who built a class A that could do this.
Some others could do it in theory based on weight ratings, but they only had 5000 pound hitch ratings.

The a/c is very efficient. I was impressed with it because it was another day in the 90s here.
The connector to tap into the air system is now under the hood up front. That's a much better place.
I think it has more to do with the excellent insulation that Newmar does/has. In our 2002 DSDP they offered an extra roof insulation package for about $100 and it was well worth the extra cost. It may be standard now. In Yuma in 95° temps we used one 13.5 heat pump to stay reasonably cool.
The connector on our two DSDP's hae always been under the front "hood". Didn't know they did it differently.

Just love your coach. I have an 05 Kountry star and would love to trade up for your model. Love the bunks. That would be perfect for our two kids who now sleep on the living room couch. I may have to go and see what the damage would be to trade in my coach and move up to something as nice as yours. Just love it. Congrats on your purchase.
By the way, we took ours to Fort wilderness last year and had a blast. Would love to see more pictures and with the slides out.

Congrat's, what a great looking rig. Don't defeat the advantages of the Comfort Drive by turning it up to what you were more used to. It should feel way to light, you will get used to it. Read this blog article. Defeating the benefits was one of the thoughts that I hoped would not happen. Comfort Drive

Nice, nice, nice! Newmar makes a great product (we're on our 3rd) and Beckleys seem to be a top notch dealer as well. ENJOY!
And isn't Comfort Drive amazing!
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

If you trade it in, you can get a rebate from Newmar. I'm not sure if the Ventana is included in the rebate.
Thread on Newmar rebate.
I'll take more pictures this weekend with my good camera. I have the beast on the street in front of my house for now. I can only open the curbside slides.
The main reason I like the bunkbeds is that I can put the 2 and 4.5 year old to bed and still have the living area available.
For no particular reason, here are the little bundles of nonstop energy in their tradtitional Norwegian bunads. My wife is in the Sons of Norway. Gotta work on getting my son to smile naturally for the camera.

Thanks! I had read that a while ago, but I need a refresher.
This is my first motorhome. I'm sure I'll try different settings to see what works best.
I'll drop it back to 2 or 3 on my next time out, but that will be a short drive.
