CFM is the most important part. 4.0@90psi or more is good.I have a harbor freight special i use for the sand dunes when i go it is around 5.2 scfm and it fills 8 tires quickly best part it was only 89 bucks.
4 gallon tank with a 1.something scfm will be very slow might start out well but fade real fast

Actually the criteria is cutin pressure for the compressor, which is about 20-305 psi less than the max rating. The air system on my MH runs at 125psi but the compressor cutin is 90 and it won't air up my 120psi tires. I bought a Porter-Cable 150psi rated air compressor with a 6 gallon pancake tank and it works great. You also need at least several CFM at 90psi and/or a tank or you will spend 15 minutes holding an air chuck on a tire to add a few psi, this eliminates most of the 12 volt compressors. My 2.5 ProSine will run my air compressor.
My experience as well. I bought a 150 psi 120 V Sears unit that stores in a baggage compartment. No problems now airing up quickly.

I did a "Google" search & was unable to find that 150 psi 120 V Sears air compressor people have recommended. Do you suppose it has been discontinued or have I just missed it.

Unfortunately, I believe the model I was referring to has been discontinued. Other posts that I've read discuss a small pancake style that Sears and Harbor Freight have, 4 or 5 gallon capacity, I think.
