ok, I have removed the frige, turned it on all sides for a few hours each side, and now it is right side up, and level. When I tried it on elec, it barely cooled, made gurgleing sounds, and the heat coming out of the stand pipe is warm. I have rigged a hose to run on propane, and see what that does. The heat out the top of standpipe is much hotter, and stronger. I blew out the heat vent/standpipe, and blew off the fins and parts on the back. Can anyone tell me step by step how to check the elec heating element, and can the go bad, and only produce a little heat? Prior to this problem it worked great on propane, and not so good on elec.

I'll tell you right now gurgling - while running the unit is not a good sign. Sounds like you may not have cleared the blockage. I had to do mine twice and the rv center tech recommend either rocking the frig back and forth or taking it out for a bumpy road ride (both measures done in the upside down position.
