With our PUP I loved the slide. Would never buy another PUP without one. Gave so much room. Now with the HTT, we looked at so many but DH thought the slide gave more room, better for us. How many have one and how many don't, What are your reasons.
The outdoors is a wonderful place to be....

Suggest you not take a survey to make a decision. Better to go to www.rvknowhow.com and read the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV.

I thought you already bought your HTT? We loved the slide - so much living space. We also looked at HTTs without side slideouts and they felt cramped, especially after a PUP.

We did, slide for sure. I noticed there are a lot that doesn't have one. Just wondering why? lighter for towing, cost, personal reasons? Curiosity that is all.

I guess it comes down to the money and extra weight is all. Those are the only bad reasons I can think of, unless you are worried about future mechanical issues that may or may not happen. We absolutely love the extra room and haven't had a single issue with ours.

We almost purchased a Coyote without a slide. However, we ended up buying one with one. We are very happy we did, it gives so much more interior room and with 4 of us inside you really need as much room as possible.

We Had a PUP with a slide and loved it. When we looked for a new trailer it had to have a slide. It is a must for us.

once we saw a HTT with a slide, we knew we had to have one.
counter space was #1 priority. we only found one non-slide hybrid that had any counter space, the kodiak/cub 195.
we realized that if we were moving up from a popup, we would also want to move up to a slide.
we bought a TV that would tow the extra weight.
when we got in the superslide hybrids, we knew this is what we wanted.

Need to be thinking about resale down the road as well. Not all, but most potential buyers will want a slide out, so not having one will reduce the buying population.
I know I'll never buy another camper without one.

I can understand why some won't have a slide due to weight, but I'll never own one without one. The extra floor space is well worth it, imo.
