This Is Awesome !!
1 can beef broth
1 cup ketcup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 tbls steak sauce
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tbls worcestershire sauce
1 beef eye round roast 3- 1/2 lbs
1/2 tea spoon each, salt & pepper
In a bowl, whisk the first 8 ingreients pour 1/2
mixture in crock pot
Cut roast in 1/2 rub each half with salt & pepper
Put roast in crock, pour the remaining mixture over
cook on low 8 to 10 hours
remove roast, with two forks shread the meat
put meat back in crock pot cook 1 more hour.
with a slotted spoon, put meat on your favorite roll or bun

Is there an ingredient missing? The "first 8 ingredients" to whisk together would include the beef.

Sounds like a great idea for our trip to Loon Lake! Thanks for the recipe, I'll try it in the next week to make sure I'm not missing anything.

One question - do you think the Splenda Brown Sugar would work OK for this (diabetics in family)?
