I have never heard a honda 1000-2000 watt generator close up run. Does anyone here think there honda sounds like this? Its supposed to run at 58db .

Your clicky does not work but I can tell you with certainity, No, what ever it is it is not as quiet as a Honda.

Go to the Honda web site and look up the noise level in DBs. Compare that to your generator.

So what kind is it? Is it the one that you have listed in your signature? It sounds a lot louder then a Honda. But its kind of hard to tll from a vid clip.

It does sound louder than a Honda and a Yamaha, though it is hard to tell. I did notice that the genny in the OP's link had much more engine noise than a Honda or Yamaha IMO.

Much louder, but maybe not fair since that was in a reflective environment with all those hard walls around.
