Hi this maybe of some help. If you like like waterfalls and like hike Try Bushkill Falls. Well worth it and is located in the gap.

PA CAmpgrounds

sorry that I can't help with where to stay as we were in the poconos for a family reunion and were in the car. So I wasn't looking into campgrounds at the time as we spent the day at Bushkill FAlls before going on to NY to see the Statue of Liberty,

Driftstone on the Delaware is a very nice, clean and well maintained campground. They only have electric and water. They do have a "Honey bucket" at an additional cost. They are rather expensive and do have strict policies. They do not allow motorcycles at all!!! A bummer for us as a 250cc scooter is our secondary form of transportation. They also have rafting and kayaking trips right right from the campground. Good Luck.

Check out "Otter Lake Campground" it's about 10 to 15 miles from the Gap area. About 8 miles North of I-80 and 18 South of I-84
