Has someone stayed at Big Meadows del Norte campground in Co. I need more info. about the park. I know they have no showers. How many miles do we have to go to find clean showers?. Is the park worth visiting? We appreciate the input. We are counting on all
of you campers. This forum has been very helpful to us. Thank you for all the help.

One happy Camper.

Haven't been there. Here's a website that will help with CG info. Sorry, I'm not good at making links, so you'll need to copy & paste into your browser. Looks like ReserveAmerica is how you make reservations; they often have specific site information (length, shady or not, etc.)

Big Meadows isn't an RV park, it's a NFS campground. I haven't camped there for more than 20 years but remember it as a nice place to camp with a good lake right there. I suppose you could go into the town of Del Norte if you want a shower but I don't know if there's a truck stop there of if you'd need to get a motel room for the day.
