does anyone know where the power transfer switch is located and can it be replaced with a manual switch as this is the third time mine has went bad. it is under warranty but a pain to get to the dealership
Thanks
If you're referring to the automatic transfer switch to put generator power to the coach even if the shore power cable is connected --
The poor boy's system is an RV outlet box in the cable storage locker, with the generator output wired to it. You plug the shore power cable into that outlet, then fire up the generator, and voila!... Not as convenient, but cheap and foolproof.
A added note: These things are simple electrical switches. If they are blowing, then I would suspect that wiring may be wrong. There is a good wiring diagram on the cover of mine. If you are at the same RV park when it fails. Park may have bad power.
