We are planning on stopping in St. Louis for a week or so in September and want to take in a Cardinals MLB game or two. Would like to know about RV parks in St. Louis near Bush Stadium, and/or any info on public transportation to the stadium.

Casino Queen Rv Park right across the river in E. St. Louis, IL. You will be within walking distance to the MetroLink train that will take you across the river and drop you off just across the street from the ballpark.

Just be careful what side of town you end up in that city after dark.

dmwtex49,
We have stayed at Sundermeier RV Park when driving from Ohio to Kansas City several times and I can recommend it. The park is located on the Missouri side just off MO-370 in St. Charles. This is not a great "camping" experience, is not 'near' Busch Stadium, and is a bit pricey; it may be one to at least consider, however. Quiet, full hookups, and pull-throughs. According to Mapquest it is 31 minutes driving time from there to Busch Stadium (of course traffic and construction may affect this).
Here is the link to Sundermeier's:

Good luck and have a great trip!

Sundermeierrvpark is nothing but a WAY, WAY, WAY overpriced parking lot. Spent a month there in January and I can't see why anyone would pay their nightly rate of $55. There was just no other place close to the job I had at the time.
Oh, and don't expect to get any sleep with the train tracks literally over your head and trains passing through numerous times in the night.

The Casino Queen on the Ill. side is a clean, quite, friendly, secure,FH park. They have a free shuttle to the metro line and the casino both about 2 blocks away. It is right across the river from The Arch and you can see the ball park. When we were there they had a coupon for free breakfast buffet. We did eat dinner and the food was good. Have fun

We also stayed at the Casino Queesn. The Metro service was clean and very easy to use. The campground was clean and secure.

2. science center...again its very good
3. Grant's Farm...it's free
4. Magic House if you have kiddo's
5. butterfly house and carisole...again if you have kiddo's
6. Arch
7. Six Flag's...it's about a 10 min ride from Babler State Park.

You failed to mention that the park doesn't have full hookups (electric only), isn't close to the ballpark, and there isn't any public transportation from there.
