Once we're camped at our destination, we like to follow those un-named little roads that take you to fabulous spots in our Wrangler - you just haven't gone sightseeing until you do it "topless"....LOL!!

And the milage in the MH that is towing it is good?
I assume that most toads get less miles put on them than the tow vehicle itself, depending on how much time you spend on the road.
To answer the question, I like the way my Wrangler tows and it was very simple to set up for it.

Both our Cherokee and Wrangler are terrific toads. The problem is deciding which one to use.

We get 16 mpg in town and 21 mpg on the highway with our 04 Wrangler automatic. When you compare it to the motor home or my Ford Expedition it seems pretty good.

No such "Option" on Wranglers. ALL wranglers have a transfer case (NP231 or NP241) with a neutral position which totally disconnects the two driveshafts inside the case. The shafts will still spin but won't be connected to the drive train.
Don't beat your head against a wall trying to find a "disconnect option", they all work this way. Same with the 4wd Libertys as they too had the NP231 T-case.

Jeep Wrangler, what more can you ask for in a toad. Seats 4, top on or off, 4x4 go any where you choose and so easy to tow.

All Four Wheel Drive Wranglers have transfer a case. The 2 wheel drive versions don't have them and can only be towed 4 down after disconecting the drive shaft.

Let me make this perfectly clear for those that don't know anything about Jeeps. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 2WD WRANGLER! ALL wranglers YJ/TJ/LJ are 4wd with either the NP231 or NP241(Rubicon models) T-cases. These T-cases have a neutral position and can all be towed 4-down.

Here's a link to information about 2 wheel drive Jeep Wranglers:
http://www.jeep.com/en/2008/wrangler/capability/drive_systems/
A quote from this page (on the Jeep site) states: 4x4 capability has been the Jeep vehicle's trademark for over 6 decades, But Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds come with 4x2 rear wheel drive capability offering another side of Jeep brand performance.
