11 years today. I spent the morning doing a ton of yard work. If I'm able to walk and raise my arms, we'll go to Ruth's Chris while the out-laws watch the 2 and 4 year olds.

Today, June 28, I married my bride in Westport,OR. We knew each other 3 months when we got married. We were 19. 50 YEARS--- wow. Where did the time go?

14 yrs to my best friend! We started camping in a tent. Went all over. Had a baby and still tent camped. Bought a boat 5 yrs ago, loved it but sort of lost interest --- long story. Oct 07 traded boat for a Gulfstream Conquest 29 ft. and have been camping several times at local SP. July 4th venturing a bit further from home...end of July even a bit further. DH, DS, two dogs and I love camping in the TT. We love spending time together around the campfire. It reminds me of camping growing up ---- only slightly smaller crew --- I was one of 8 kids and we spend every summer camping in a TENT! Now DH and I are making memories with our son.

After 11 years, my wife still asks me what she should wear. Why do women do this? Every time she asks, I give the same response. I don't know.
Women, please look at the way your husbands dress. Do you really want fashion advice from him?
We do not understand your wardrobe. All we know is that you have 10 times as much clothing as we do.
If we get out of the house with pants, shirt and shoes, we've accomplished our goal.

32 years come 10/31/2008. We have been camping one way or another since we met and will celebrate #32 with an outing to NYC and a performance of "Young Frankenstein" with a trip downtown to see the parade in the Village. How nice it is that so many people help us celebrate!
