We're looking for a one night stay in the Memphis area. We were looking at Tom Sawyers, but I'm afraid the Mississippi might be to high by the time we get there on the 30th.

We have stayed there several times. Good fishing in pond. You should have no flood problems. Well above Mississppi River. 50 Feet. Jim

Try Audubon Point which is about 5 miles south of Memphis. It's new, all pull-thru's, absolutely spotless.

I second the suggestion of Audubon Point....we stayed there twice recently, coming and going thru Memphis, and were very pleased with the park.

If you are headed south you might try Sams Town. Very clean and reasonable when we stayed there a couple of years ago.

If you are going to see Elvis there is a SP no more than 15 minutes from Graceland. In the trees. You would think you are miles from any city. Can't remember the name offhand.

We stayed at Meeman Shelby state park in Millington right outside Memphis back in March it was beautiful. It's only about 15 minutes outside Memphis. You will think you are in the deep woods, we saw 5 deer running through the campground. Wish I were there right now.

You are thinking of T.O. Fuller state park.. its also just down from the Cuckalisa Indian center.. Meeman state park is nice but older so if you have a big rig it can be tight.
good luck.
