I added a hitch 4 years ago and have had no problems. Go to any good trailer hitch or good muffler shop that does hitches....Mine goes from outside frame rail to rail and is reinforced in the center and welded to the crossmember in the center also. My second trailer is a dual wheel 14' flatbed that hauls toys....To be legal in Ca...you must have brakes on all vehicles and the right licenses.
Hope this helps!

Trevor,
I like your rig, How long have you been pulling double? And do you ever get hassled for length?
Must be fun in So. Cal. traffic.
I live here in Oregon and doubles are not allowed, but I'm planning a trip to Utah and want to pull the rhino behind my 38' toy hauler, I'm not worried about the truck (d-max dually), I figure a ticket is cheaper than taking a second truck.

Thanks everyone who posted. Sorry for not getting back in a while. If you have a hitch on the back of your Toyhauler could you please take a few pictures of it. I would like to see it from the rear and from underneath. I am getting ready to do this now and would like to see others for planning purposes. Thanks

Mine has had a hitch since it was almost new......put a flatbed trailer behind it to hauls quads, ect....Sandrail is in the Raptor....Just went to a good muffler/hitch shop and told them what I wanted....Tows perfect and yes it is a little long. If you look at the picture in my signature you can see the flatbed!

I will get you a few pics of the hitch attachment this week. Had a flu bug hit and I haven't even left the house this week.

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I dragged my flu ridden butt out and got a few pics today. Now that I look at them they are pretty crappy, but might help you. Ifyou need more let me know and I can go take some. About all it did for me was remind me I had better gut under there andput someting on all that bare metal.
