I posted this about a year ago and didnt really get anywhere, so here goes again.

04' Rage'n 2124c. Looking at eye level about 8" to the right of the fridge there is an independent on/off switch. I have no idea what its function is! Not related to the fuel station or anything else I can think of. HELP!

Hot water heater? Is it red and says "RESET"?
Switch the refrigerator from LP to Elect?
Outside stereo speakers?
Outside porch (or hitch area courtesy) lights? Try turning it on and off at night with nothing else on and see if a light comes on somewhere.

Can you post a picture of it?

Maybe a "step-light" switch.

Ragen soemtimes puts a clear light up under the step-well to see the steps at night.

My FA3005 has one.

I thought I saw an answer to this..it either was a switch for an outside shower light on the driver side or the flood lights for the ramp ?

Ok, here's where I am, stay with me.

Had my wife flip the switch off and on while I listened/looked for something to be activated. Finally heard what sounded like a relay clicking near the water heater. When in the on position, and outside with w/h door open I hear a verrrry very faint high pitched noise when the switch is in the 'on' position only, and a click as the switch moves from on to off or visa versa. If, while its making this noise, I remove the 5amp fuse on the water heater module, the noise goes away.

Now heres the odd part. There is the normal off/on switch for the w/h on the control panel on the range hood that we've always used. I checked last night and it doesnt matter if the mystery switch is in the on or off position, it still lights fine.

Its not the 115V switch for the waterheater as thats located elsewhere, not for any external lights or anything anyone here has mentioned. Its now obvious it has something to do with the water heater... but what?

I had the same trailer and when we bought the trailer new I had to have the dealer call national to find out what the switch was. It is and secondary switch for the 110v hot water you need that switch on plus switch the micro/hotwater switch to the hot water postion. I don't know why they did this but thats what it is for

Thats the closest I can think of. Maybe a safety feature so you dont inadvertantly hit the micro/waterheater switch when the tank is dry and fry the element. You have to really work at it to burn it out this way.

Since I've never used the 115v element, I'll be checking it out tonite! Thanks!!!

On my 2003 ragen the switch above the thermostat was the power for the pump station, if that switch was off even with the timer on no power to the pump station.

If you have a fantastic fan...it might be the power switch.
