Does anyone know how high the 5er will be with the front ac added? I want to add one to my 35L4QB silver back but I don't want to go over 13'6". Right now the published hieght is 12'11".

I have almost the same fiver as yours, the 36L5S. I agree that that a second AC is required on these anytime it hits 90 or more outside. Did you get it prewired for the second AC. If you do this let me know how difficult it is.
My unhit had it installed by the previous owner. I used it last weekend. Freezes the bedroom out even on the lowest possible setting. Mine is a 13.5 btu, however it is noisy as well. I guess I will get use to it. The other thing that happens is that because the main unit is on or cycling on & off, if you are warm in the living area you can crank the bedroom up to high to send air down into the living area. What happens is that the cold air will fool the thermostat into a false reading. you have to play with the settings in that case.
