My son had the terrible twos from 18 months until he was 4. Just don't give in!

The terrible twos started earlier than age two for both of my kids.

Wow, we've been lucky. Both our girls were absolutely delightful little girls. They of course more than made up for it when they were teenagers. Now, both have children. Our eldest Daughter's son is now a teenager, and except for the normal boy stuff (dirty room, bathing issues, and such, is a nice kid. Our youngest Daughter's girl is 4, and a blessing. She does have her moments, but Mom shuts her down quick, and she gets over it.
Now the boys are just the opposite. Both were little hellions when they were small, but very responsible as teenagers and young adults. Their children are little monsters, and don't seem to get a lot of discipline at home, but they sure get it at Papa's place.
Of course, we will take every opportunity to visit with all our Grandkids, and love each for who they are.

I LOVED the twos!! I call them the terrific twos! Budding independence, the ME DO IT!! and the zest for exploring their world.
We're now entering the teens; so far so good!

Oh man do I understand this. Mostly with our son!!
From the time he was 2 until this very day (when he comes home to visit) my motto was: "you will not live to see (age)3,4,5,6,7,8 and so forth all the way to today and HE'S TWENTY-SEVEN!!!!
Now our grandson that is 9 was a dream, a breeze, a blessing (honest).....
this new grandson that is 15 months..................at this point, he won't live to see 2 (and not only does his MOM say that but so does NANA!!)
HONEST.........I've never said my "kids" and/or "grandkids" were BRATS, up to this one and trust me HE IS A BRAT!!!!!!!
Which brings us to the age old question, "If you had it to do over, which would you rather raise, girls or boy?"??????????
Don't give a woman advice, one should never give a woman anything she can't wear at night!
