I have an lp gas quick connect on my Jayco Jayflight G2 29 BHS. I want to connect a small grill to quick connect fitting. The hoses seem difficult to find on line. The grill I have now I had been using the small propane bottles. Do they make any type of a hose for this or am I looking at buying a new grill if I want to make this type of a connection. Thanks.

To use that type of grille you are going to have to connect to high pressure before the regulator. Search Extend-A-Stay. They have hoses and fittings that will do that. I have their system on my coach. It connects right at the valve that is on the tank. We fuel a Weber Q200 with it.

The quick disconnect gas outlet on your trailer is a low pressure connection (comes after the two stage regulater). While you can buy a quick connect hose and fit it to work with most small grills, you'll find the performance lacking considerabley since you'll be going through another regulator at the grill. The other option is to buy a grill made to utilize a low pressure connection. Options here are small grills like the RVQ and Cadaq grills or if you want a full size grill most Camp Chef models are low pressure units. Camp Chef also makes a replacement regulator hose for use on their stoves that will connect directly to your low pressure quick disconnect fitting on your trailer.

You can't go through 2 regulators. There is one on the front of your trailer and the bbq with the little bottles where the little bottle screws on that is the second regulator. If you can remove the one regulator on the bbq then you can get the quick connect to work. My old bbq I removed the regulator and used a gas control from a big old bbq, and it worked good. We bought a new coleman road trip grill and I removed the regulator from it and hooked up to my quick connect with juat the control. If you have any questions on how I did either one just pm me.
