This past weekend my Scangauge II quit working on my E-450 motorhome, but continues to work fine in other vehicles (I tested it on two Dodges). On the motorhome, it acts like it isn't even connected (nothing comes on, etc.). Any idea what the problem might be?

Is there a fuse for the OBDII port? I know the scangauge gets it's power from the vehicle...

I was wondering the same thing, or at least how to probe the OBDII port for signs of life...

You need three things to probe the OBD II connector
One is a pin out, Any auto service manual for your engine line should have that
The others are a logic probe for the data line and a test lamp or voltmeter for the power line
And that's it

People have been know to plug power hungry devices into their lighter sockets and pop the fuse. This is one of the little known side effects (at least on the Pords).

...we have a winner! That solved the problem--I spent far longer tracking down my owners manual to figure out which fuse it was than I did in the actual repair.
Bryan, I owe you a cold beer when you come up this far north.

Where DOES that pesky fuse reside?
On edit after finding it: On my 2001 E 450 it is up above my imaginary clutch pedal. REALLY convenient. Open the driver's door, sit on the step, get a flashlite, turn your stupid bifocals upside down, pull the cover off the fuse panel, try to read the stupid numbers, and to top it all, these are the VERY small type of spade fuse. If yer a klutzy fingered type, one of those little bitty plastic fuse pullers is a big help in getting them out.
Replacing the fuse tho, DID light up my ScanGauge and the cigarette lighter socket.
