I have only just towed a very short distance with my new '07 Chevy Silverado 2500 diesel and existing 27' TT but I have been surprised how much I notice the trailer behind me. I have a proper set up with a sway bar and torsion bars but somehow the truck feels a little "light" in the front. Everything looks level.
Any comment on how I might fix this? I am thinking that perhaps it is something I just need to get used to.
Take a good look at this thread. It should give you all the info you need to get your hitch set up correctly. I think that is the problem. Make sure you click on the relevant links given in that thread about the GM vehicles and weight distribution setup.
