I am looking for jerry cans to carry additional gasoline. Not sure I am excited about the the "Carb" style cans. Any other choices, jerry cans seem to be stronger...but have been told some styles LEAK?

I have been using the NATO style jerrycans for years without any leakage.

Try using safety cans. And get the plastic spout for easy transfer. The Nato cans are the worst.

These are CARB-compliant and work great. The spout is a perfect fit in a Honda generator.

I use the NATO style Jerry Cans and have never had a leak. That's what is nice about them, you can even put them on their side and they won't leak. I have two mounted on the front deck of my popup. CARB cans will leak. Some States such as California and Pennsylvania only allow the CARB cans and the NATO cans are illegal. Also, I prefer a metal can to ensure there is no static that can possibly ignite the fuel. It has happened, especially if the plasitic can is transported in a vehicle with a bedliner.

These are the Jerry cans that I use with screw on spouts. No leaks while in transit, however if I'm in too much of a hurry to pour out I'll have some leakage through the small pin size vent hole.

He Ruide,

The ones you have..are they the Blitzer metal cans? only leak via the vent ? The carb approved cans are a royal pain.

Thanks again,

Salesguy
