While Michelle worked all weekend, I was able to spend some quality time around the house. I was at least in the camper for a while - I vacuumed all the carpeting inside and organized the basement area before our upcoming trip. I did have the slideouts out so maybe that qualifies as camping? It sure made me miss being out in the woods this weekend. In fact, all of our friends were surprised that we were home. My co-workers all were glad that we planned to stay home - it pretty much guaranteed a weekend without rain (you are all welcome - happy to make your holiday weekend an enjoyable one).

That sounds GOOD. Are the recipes on this website?
The Mountain Man recipe is modified from Lodge Cast Iron cookbook that comes with their Dutch Ovens, the Omlets in a bag are on the "Cooking" Thread here on RV.net - and the Crock Pot Potatoes (are you ready for this) come from Weight Watchers!
DW and I tabulated food used last weekend - and for the 6 adults and 4 kids that were there... yeah, that was just not right...
So, southcentral Wisconsin again gets rocked by severe weather. At least this time there were not tornado warnings everywhere (and we weren't camping). There was a confirmed tornado near Markesan though and they never even issued a warning on that! The shelf cloud that came through at the leading edge of the storms was very ominous! The clouds were swirling like they didn't know where to go!

Things may happen in your life that are totally unexpected but with good friends, a campfire and a positive attitude, you can get through anything.
We had a couple frog soakers in the past 24 hours. 2.2 inches here at home.
Went to look at a property for sale tonight which was down a small narrow lane and lined with trees on one side. By the time my DW got the car turned around and started back up the lane the wind picked up and started raining and in a blink of an eye a tree broke off and blocked the driveway. Luckly one of the neighbors came by and went to find a chainsaw so we could cut ourselves out of this dead end property.
