Went to look at a property for sale tonight which was down a small narrow lane and lined with trees on one side. By the time my DW got the car turned around and started back up the lane the wind picked up and started raining and in a blink of an eye a tree broke off and blocked the driveway. Luckly one of the neighbors came by and went to find a chainsaw so we could cut ourselves out of this dead end property.
so dead end so does that mean you are not going to take it or are you going to be the one bringing the fire wood next rally

Well, my surgery is scheduled! FINALLY! I'm having my fourth, and hopefully FINAL foot surgery on July 24. The doc has to do a number of things and will require three separate incisions to fix everything. What's really interesting is that she thinks that there will probably be a lot of post-op pain, so she suggested something similar to an epidural, only it's just from the knee down on my left leg! She said that it will block any feeling in my left leg from the knee down for THREE DAYS! By that time, most of the pain will have passed, without me even knowing it! Course, that means I have to get around our tri-level house on crutches! Should be fun! LOL!
I'm actually happy about this, because I'm tired of being in pain. This will finally alleviate a lot of the foot pain I've been dealing with for the last 14 years!
No, I think the property is dead end as well as the road.
Good thing you're gettin it fixed up Julie. God only gives you 2 feet and there aren't any donors or loaners.
I get to go in tomorrow and do the Barium x-ray thing. Sounds like it should be lots of fun! Did an upper GI endoscopy complete with biopisies last week and a CT scan still have to do a capsule endoscopy and more labs. Trying to pinpoint a wheat gluten allergy or something like it. I'm just tired of being looked into and poked. Maybe I just have the privledge of paying for some doctors new car. All I have gotten so far is the hospital bills.

Glen, I hope they figure out what's going on for you! Having all those tests is NOT fun! Been there, done that (with Greg).
Dave, Thinking about all the things that could happen with my leg being numb for three days, funny that never crossed my mind! Dang! I remember just after having my bunion surgery done, Erica was a baby, and I dropped a FULL baby bottle right on my incision. THAT was painful! DOH!
Julie, after I had my c section with Jason, my first night home I was changing Emily and she didn't want to be changed so she kicked me hard right where my incison was...talk about pain!
Things may happen in your life that are totally unexpected but with good friends, a campfire and a positive attitude, you can get through anything.
