I forgot how much work a puppy is.

You're not kidding! It's been 15 years since I've had a puppy. Thank goodness it's not winter yet! I am outside with Ember at LEAST every half hour. She is starting to go to the door now when she wants out but she just quietly sits there. If I wasn't following her around constantly or having her leashed to me, I wouldn't even know she was waiting there. Now we have started working on ringing a bell hanging on the door knob. I will be very glad to have potty training behind us! We start puppy kindergarten next Wednesday. I can't believe how fast she is growing! She is noticeably bigger than she was two weeks ago when we brought her home. Dave has enlarged her collar twice already.

Ha, ha! Wendy!

We spend the first year of their life teaching them to walk and talk and the rest of their lives we're telling them to sit down and shut up!

Daisy has grown a little. Housebreaking no accidents yesterday & tonight she was by the door wining so Amanda took her out & she did her job!! Yeah hopefully this is a good sign! First vet visit today & she weighs only 11.5 lbs. & healthy, thank goodness she's fixed so I won't have to worry about that. I have to keep my eyes on her all the time or she finds something else to eat or destroy. It's pretty funny watching her & Diesel wrestling, she usually wins, but it's great seeing Diesel being such a great dog with her, now Lady gets left alone & can just sleep.

We put a set of bells on the door to teach sundance to tell us to go out and it only took her a day or two to catch on. She actually gets annoying sometime when she wants out to do nothing, but it is better then a mess on the floor.
