OK...I am at one of my favorite campgrounds in Maryland. When I pulled into my space I noticed the people next door have an extension cord (15A) plugged into my pedestal. I plugged into the 50A receptacle and figured that when the neighbor returned they would unplug it. NOPE...didn't happen..still plugged in. Now I am not using that receptacle but it still seems rude...What say you?

It would not bother me at all, unless I was paying for the electric, life is too short to get worked up over nothing....

Rude!! Post is not 'theirs', it's yours. Unplug that sucker and leave it lying beside the post. "It must have fallen out when I pulled on it to get it out of my way".
Second thought > what are they doing with it? Not hooked up to some sort of life support system is it?

Unless you are paying for your electric usage from a meter what difference does it make? Maybe there is a problem with their pedestal and they cannot get full power. I'd say you are hard up for something to complain about and I would not have posted it on here. Good luck.
*With 77 posts I am disappointed that far too many are getting upset without finding out why first. If it bothered me I'd start by going to the office to ask why.

I had the same two thoughts...
1st...pull it
2nd...What if it is hooked up to a refrigerator or something.
Yeah I get it, that life is too short to worry about it. Not going to worry about it just wanted to pose the question to get people's opinion

Is it a shared-hookup CG? Unless you running what you want/need, plus their running what they want (what little they can on the 15-amp outlet) will cause the fuse/circuit to go, it shouldn't matter.
