Two thoughts:

1. It IS rude...
2. Who cares....

Life is short...question the big stuff...

If electric is included, It doesn't really matter where each is plugged in. If you are using the 50 amp plug there should be plenty of amps left. I would guess the post has 100 amps.

If I were you I would go out there right now and cut the end off the cord.

If they have a post just unplug it and plug it into theirs. Or better yet talk to the campground management. Maybe their post is not working. Not worth causing hard feelings.

I just read this whole thread, then went away for a while to search out something meaningful to say in response to what I read, then came back and, believe it or not, this thread was still here!! Amazing!! I honestly thought this "problem" was a figment of my imagination. Silly me. But......for a few minutes, I actually forgot about world hunger, flooding in Iowa and other midwestern states, the war in Iraq, gas prices, Tim Russert's sudden death, and all the other stuff that normally bothers me. I guess I should be grateful for the respite.

I bet you are the type who makes a special trip to Wal-Mart to return a $2 item because something about it just wasn't right, and then complains for 10 minutes holding up the line. Old people are just so bored they'll do anything to have something to complain about.

Best thing to do would be to just talk to the neighbor when he gets back and not be a jerk about it.

We would wait until they got back to their campsite, then we would explain that we need that plug for our cheater box.
