We are heading north to Alaska from Calgary for the first time on Saturday, June 21st. We are looking forward to seeing all of the sights. Everyone else has wonderful comments. This will be our 2nd big trip (Calgary to Louisbourg, Nova Scotia) last year. Any suggestions for "must see's and do's"?

I see you have only one response. I am new to this site and to bloging for that matter and have found you will get far more responses if you pose a specific question...ie. please suggest must see places in Alaska. good luck

Take the bus trip into Wonder Lake in Denali. This is a park shuttle bus, not the tour bus from the motels. I second the cruise out of Valdez and the drive to Skagway. The Riverboat tour is Fairbanks is also very nice and informative.
