One day, they will get theirs.... They always do.

Hopefully it will be a painful lesson with lots of screaming and begging...

but rest assured, they will get theirs... someday....

Can you homeowner's or automotive insurance help cover the cost of repair?

That stinks. Just remember, Karma happens.

To repair the window I'd use Tear Aid Type B tape. Available from Cabelas.

Dave Dave Dave, not what someone want's to hear when their having trouble.

More sympathy, less sarcasm play nice

while it would be nice to live in a safe neighborhood like yours or mine San Diego in the winter sounds a whole lot better than dreary old Ohio.

When and if they catch the kids that did the damage in the neighborhood, get together with the other people that had damage done by them and file a law suit against the parents of the kids for all damages. And push for child neglect against the parents also. We as parents who have raised our children properly need to take a stand against these parents who don't care where or what their children do.

Bad things happen to good people. Good things happen to bad people. I know from experience that everything that happens, happens for a good reason, we just can't see it right away. Also, what goes around comes around. Those who vandalized your trailer will one day experience the same wrath. So don't work yourself up about it, use that energy to get your screen fixed. It'll be ok.

Sorry to hear of damage to your new toy. Good side is screen is a lot simpler to make a quick servicable repair - than is the side wall material. Popped mine up a little too close to a wayward branch & snagged the canvas (Yep canvas -- old PuP). Stood on a stump - 'darned' it back together with sewing kit - rubbed a little bees wax on it. Camped many more a year in it. It is just the 'meanness' that is so maddening. Don't let some 'punk' ruin your good times.

We had a similar without the vandalism, although if we were not in the PUP it may have turned out worse than just a scare. We were living in our PUP in the driveway during the build of our home. 1 night DH, 2 DD, 1 Dog and myself were sleeping when something woke me. Koda(dog) jumped started to bark and took off running out the door. There was a teen entering our PUP! DH jumped up and off he went behind Koda. To late, DH called Koda back. Police had said there was break in's along with vandalism in our area all within a few days. I always keep the door locked after that just for little more safe feeling, when our PUP was not in use we always kept it down. I try to get things done within a day or 2. So to end with this long story I feel very bad for you. I always wondered what would have happened if we were not in it with our dog. Good Luck and hope you still can enjoy the rest of this season without to much heartache.

Fix the screen, be glad they didn't slash the fabric or tires and get on with life -- If you get too angry, the vandals win.
