I went to Gatlinburg, TN last week and pulling my TT(8500 loaded) my TV got 11.6mpg through the hills. I did not think that was too bad since it has less than 3000 miles on it. Oh, and the rest of the trip was nice too!! Twin Creek Resort was a very nice place to stay.

Was that hand calculated or was that from the overly enthusiastic overhead readout?
I only ask because mine is off by .5 - 2 MPG.

Mine finally broke the 15 mpg empty barrier to a cool 16.9 to 17.3mpg not towing ( 17000 miles), haven’t towed since early may when we set our trailer at our summer camp site in the White Mountains of AZ. But will tow again in Sept when we go to Colorado Springs for a few weeks then back to Tucson. Since getting the G30 recall done the overhead is reading .1 mpg lower than hand calculating, but still would not trust it other than as a reference.

Took our maiden voiage a couple weekends ago. Trailer weight was 12,000, total weight was 21,000. From Mesa, AZ to Clints Well I got 10.2 mpg hand calc. Truck ran great. I managed to do 52-55mph up the hills. Me likes!
