I always hang this sign outside my door when I stop and go inside the coach. It probably won't stop a 'desparate' criminal-type, but it may make most others think twice before breaking my door in....
Enjoying the journey...
I like that!!! Mind if I borrow it?? My sign simply says "Fire...Ready...Aim"!!!
I have the one that says...
"This residence is protected by Smith and Wesson three nights a week...
You guess which three".

Yep, you're right. It's a sad commentary that there isn't ANYTHING that you can post that will be safe from some people's snide remarks. If you say it's a beautiful day, someone out there will say you're nuts because it's raining someplace!
You are so right.

A few years ago we had a guy pass away at our local rest area of natural causes. He was hunched over in the drivers seat. The sad part was,... no one noticed for almost 90 days! It was so sad, the guys wife reported him as missing, he left to go to a seminar in Indy and went thru Thanksgiving and was found right before Christmas. The rest area was less the 20 miles from his home. Nobody noticed! I think of that poor soul every time I go to a rest area.

Funny...never had any problems with rest stops. I just step out the door with my shotgun and...

Of course you armed to the hilt types realize that this subject is hilarious to the thousands of Canadians who travel freely and unarmed throughout America.
Not looking for trouble and seldom finding any.
The best I ever read was a post a couple of years ago by an RVer who said that when walking into Walmart, he keeps his hand on his gun.
I have no stats, but I imagine that the chances of being killed while driving are much geater than those of being mugged while taking a pee at a rest stop.
Why not a thread about that?

In my neighborhood I have never seen a house fire, heard of any break-ins or anyone being hurt and suing a home owner.
Using your logic, I should immediately cancel my homeowners insurance since none of these things seem to happen here.
Do what you want but I will keep both types of insurance.
Homeowners to protect my investment.
CWP to protect my life.
I hope to never have to use either one.

sad thing is our Canadian brethren have had the right to keep and bear arms taken away from them. Not saying we "have to" go armed here in the US, just that we still have that right.
