do you have Kids/ do you want the trendy places or out of the way places? you have all the standards chains in the area but Kids like Fudpuckers because of the gators you can see and feed and Goatfeaters not bad then there is some out of the way places like the Back Porch that has good food. Or go on up to Fort Walton area and go to Staffs for some good sea food... there is lots to pick from so hope this helps a bit and I am sure others will chime in with their favorites.

You can eat at a different place each day and not hit all the good spots in Destin.

Lagniappes was one of our favorites. Also good fresh fish available for grilling at the campsite.

The Back Porch is right on the beach, and has a play area for the kids. The food is great.

We order pizza from Jordano's and they deliver right to your site. The EBA (everything but anchovies) is EXCELLENT. Loaded with meat, veggies etc.
We like the Back Porch as well. The atmosphere is awesome, but you will pay well for it. We also tried Dewey Destin's while we were out on the pontoon. It was good and nice atmosphere. You can sit in or outside (not air conditioned) right over the water. Nothing fancy at all, wear your swim suits, shorts etc.
That is my 2 cents. We usually eat at the campground.
Enjoy and let us know what you choose.

Just west of Topsail, take the left fork across from the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and go west on Secnic 98. You will find the Whale's Tail, Pompano Joes and the Crab Trap. All 3 are right on the beach and have OK food. If you want GOOD food, without the tourist views, go to Marina Cafe on 98 or west on Okaloosa island to Pandora's (for prime rib).

We hit the donut hole EVERY day outside of the State Park and even had to grab some donuts for the trip back to GA.
