Thanks for the input folks. I'm really excited about getting him. The owner is weighing him in a Sherpa right now to see if he's close to the limit. That would be the ideal arrangement for getting him home. My plane ticket would be "free" and it's $80 for a pet in the cabin on NWA. I would try to fly out and back on the same day.

Next choice would be to have RV Tommy's friend bring him out. Chances are we could make that arrangement and get him home fairly soon that way.

Next option would be for us to drive out there and get him. We'd really love a trip out to that area anyway, but unfortunately, it'll be hard for us to get away any time soon. We have a new grandson due momentarily, so I suppose as soon as I leave town he would decide to make his arrival.

Here's a picture of the new pup:

Very handsome boy Julie!!

Thanks for adopting him from a responsible breeder and of course, for having him neutered. I am sure he will make a fine forever friend for your growing family!

My friends pooch was border line for his carrier so I gave her my soft cat carrier and took the supports out. He just rolls around in it. She carried the frame the 1st time just in case but he's happy the way it is. Go figure

Thank you all for the kind comments. I need a new name for the new boy. His current name is Mannie. Since my oldest dog's name is Annie - I'm afraid that'll be too confusing (for all of us!) So, I'm looking for an "F" name. Our dogs are Annie, Bonnie and Charlie. The cats are Dawg and Echo. So, to keep with the alphabetical scheme, we need a name starting with an F. My current favorite is Frisco - since he's a California boy. But, my spouse doesn't like that one. Any suggestions?

Fritz and Farely, I need to run those by Chino. Any other ideas? They newest one that has come to mind for me is Frodo. Chino may go for that, since he's a LOTR fan.
