I usually remove mine and lock the ball into the hitch to store it. Sometimes I'll drive around with the hitchhead attached (storing the bars), but I won't do that if I know I'll be driving on dusty roads, as it means I'll have to wipe it all down before hooking back up.

Hitch, WD and sway bars all go in front storage compartment.

one idea I got on the forum is a hard plastic rifle case for the bars...

I have a old chainsaw case that works for the hitch and greasy ends of the bars... the carry handel works nice...

Locking hitch pin. I got really tired of lugging it or worrying about it and the hitch pin was on sale for less than $15. Lay the bars inside the back of the sub off to the side on plastic. They stay there and I always know where they are.

For Equal-i-zer. It depends on the environment I'm in. Usually I just put the bars behind the LP tanks, and pull the receiver, and put a cable through it and lock to the tongue of the camper.

I'm going to Cherry Hill in Washington DC this summer. I will stow the bars in the camper compartment, and probably put the receiver in there too, if it doesn't fit I'll lock it up outside somewhere out of site of casual passer byes.

I think you just need to keep the honest people honest. If there are thieves there are lots of opportunities for lots of other stuff.

I leave my hitch attached to the truck, I carry some plastic bags that I wrap around the ball to keep the grease off of my clothes. After banging your shin two or three times you will start to remember its there.

We tend to pull in & the next time we start the TV, its to head home.

Bars come off the "L" brackets and stay in the hitch head, hitch comes up off the ball until level - reverse the process a couple of days later.

Now I need an electric tongue jack.

Ok, help a newbie out here. Our new hitch with the sway bars attached is so darn big and heavy, I have no idea what we'll do with it. The bars stay hooked to the hitch so if I take it off it's this big hitch with bars on it. If I leave it on, then the bars are there and I would be worried if I went driving in my TV and the bars moved. Does this make sense? What to do? Next weekend is the first with the new TT and hitch set up.

If you have to hide it....try putting it behind the wheel of the TT.....out of sight and dry.
