What can you expect from K-Mart? I understand that now they don't have a lifetime warranty on Craftsman tools.

I've heard that too. Larger tools like torque wrenches especially, so I bought my last torque wrench from Lowes.

Update part 2

Well I received my first phone call from a Sears rep minutes ago.

Now the story is that they have the Leaf Blower in the service dept and they are currently working on it as a priority. I was told that the service dept would call me later today to give me a status report.

Stand by....

Update Part #3...

Well it's almost 2 days I have been waiting for the phone call from the service dept that was promised to me by the Sears manager. Yawn!

Update Part #4

It is now July 2nd

Still no phone call from the service dept. Nothing!

I bought a new leaf blower from a reputable equipment dealer.

I called my contact (manager) at Sears and left a message on her phone mail. I told her I bought a new machine and no longer want the machine they have. I will only accept a refund for that unit.

They now have my machine and my money. If I do not get the refund I am entitled to I will take pleasure in taking them to small claims court.

I would also consider going to the store and telling my story to the department manager, loud enough for any customer within sight to hear it.

Yes Potcorn... I may just pick up the leaf blower and take it up to the Managers office and start up the leaf blower....... if it will start LOL!

The managers at Sear have no customer service training so they ignore customer issues by hiding in their office closets..LOL

This You Tube Video pretty much sums up what customer are going through. I am now almost 3 months waiting for my leaf blower to be repaired.

Update, and a final resolution:

Case Closed

Today I received an apology from the Sears Manager here at Mapleview Mall and a full refund.

Glad to hear of the successful results, however, who initiated the contact with the manager, you or him?? I can bet it wasn't him. LOL

Gotta Laugh...

Telephone call today.

It was from Sears.

They said my leaf blower was in and I could pick it up anytime. I thanked the guy for the call and said OK. I wonder how long the blower will sit on a shelf at that location until someone figures out I won't be coming to pick it up. LOL
