We are leaving Kitimat Saturday, June 28th and are off to Hyder, Alaksa just because. We'll see if the the grizzlies are eating the fish yet, look at the Salmon Glacier if we can get up there in the moho. Friday the 4th, we are in Kincolith for the Annual Crab Fest with Tom Cochrane and Glass Tiger and lots of First Nations dancing an singing...did I mention CRAB FEST?

And May 1st was my first day of the rest of my life as well.

Lets see here..... I have some clients that are taking Monday off and working Tuesday and I have other clients that are working Monday and taking Tuesday off. So either I only take a regular weekend and then work both Monday AND Tuesday or I take a vacation day and make it a 4 day weekend and go camping. I wonder what I should do............................This could be a tough decision. NOT!!!

We will be at Backyard Beach!!! My company is on holiday 365 days a year. Yup, I'm in my 14th year of retirement so we stay home on long weekends and let all you working folks have the campsites.

Congrats, Eric. May your retirement be a long and healthy one.

Beware! we did that 2 years ago. It was 30 above when we left Edmonton and 25 in Kananaskis when we arrived. By midnight it was 3 above and fell to 0 overnight. We were tenting at the time and slept about 1/2 an hour all night and left at 6 am (after a long hot shower).

kananaskis in notorious for extreme temp changes.
