sorry Kenny, driven by the road to on #3 hundreds of times, and by the park itself a few times but never stayed there, if I am not mistaken it appeared that they have some seaonal campers in there, but not to sure on that, just what I could see from the road, but I have been meaning to stop there for a quick 2 day trip as it is only about an hour from home. If you go, post your thoughts about it after, and some site recomendations in there.

We have been to Selkirk PP a few times, enjoyed it. Large grassy campsites, good comfort station, and nice view of the lake. Have not been there in a couple of years as we have been exploring other Parks across Ontario and the Maritimes plus traveling up the James Bay Highway in Quebec to Radisson.

We stayed there about two years ago. It is nice, grassy etc.
It is privately run in co-operation with the Conservation Area IIRC....the seasonal trailers are on the serviced sites. So if you want hydro, you have to be amongst the sheds and decks !!!
The non-electrical sites are typical PP( of around here on lake erie )
We have pics somewhere if you want to see them.

Not true. The seasonal are in a completely separate section of the park, although they are visible from the rest of the park, bur transient & seasonal sites are not mixed at all. The park is about ~20mins from by house and I stay at it at least twice a season.
KennyG, I'll be there for Canada day also. I'm on site 80 something...(I forget) but right by you. I'll pop by and say hello at some point

What's the beach like at Selkirk PP? Is it similar to Port Burwell or Turkey Point? (sandy and good for kids)
Is there any smell/pollution from the nearby Nanticoke coal-fired electricity generating stations at the park?
