When dry camping, water flows out of the city water connection when the pump is turned on. How do we fix this? We temporily have a cap on the hose connection. How do we unstick the valve?
Thanks

The valve may not be stuck. It's probably the O-Ring was blown off the valve if you used pressure to blow out the lines. Take it apart and put the O-Ring back on, or replace it. (Be sure the pump is off!).
Yep, this happened to me.

Just continue to use the cap on the end...When mine went bad on my Keystone it could not be "fixed" and I had to buy that whole assembly as just the brass fixture wouldl not replace the existing one. (I think it was $45.00 from Keystone). If yours is the brass unit that is replecable it is less then $10.00.

Or buy a garden hose shutoff in any hardware store and screw it on. We did that several years ago, and it is still working fine.

Ours is plastic and connects to plastic tubing just inside the wall. The back side is accessible but there is little there but blue tubing. Inside the wall portion, there may be a check valve but I do not know without taking it apart. We are currently connected to park water. The coach (a Komfort 241fs) is still under warranty so we may just have the dealer deal with it if it is not easily fixed. I was expecting the check valve to be at the water pump. This is not the case?

Had this happen to me last year because of too much water pressure when connected to city water to fill up fresh water tank and didnt use Watts regulator(Stupid Move 1000 on my part). It broke off the little tabs that work the check valve so the spring would not close it when on pump, leak out like yor problem and would be forced back on city water so no water would go in. Needed to replace the inlet connection which was a 20 minute job(the 3 screws holdind it from the outside and then just unscrew it from the connector to the blue tubing)
Hope this helps
