You said you were paying cash..........that's good from what I understand from talking to a salemen the other day at an ex National dealer. He said the problem is, they can't get anyone to finance them. That appears to be an excellent price.......and I think National built a nice product. Good luck.

Look over the tires very carefully, if it was an early 06 could be looking at an almost 3 year old tires. If it has been sitting look for soft spots.

wow sounds good to me. one worry would be why has it been sitting for 2 years or more and not sold. Diesel wasn't that much of an item in 2006 so why is it still on the lot. do a carfax.com check on the vin # and see what comes up. make sure it wasn't in any floods!

Carfax won't show you anything if the vehicle is still on the MSO & has never been titled.

Since Nationals were built in Perris, CA, about 2500 miles from Ohio, how is it that the coach has only 250 miles on it? That would be my first question.

FYI - NADA book is 121k to 124k for Wholesale Trade In and 162k to 166k Used Retail.
Looks like a great deal.
Hope this helps

That sounds like a great deal. See if you can get them to give you another 2K off for the tires. Just give it a thorough PDI before you sign on the dotted line. If your SeaBreeze is in great shape (not good) you should be able to get at least 16K for it. If it's immaculate you can probably push it to 20K. Coaches that are in great shape will bring in the dollars. If their less than great the price drops considerably. I sold an immaculate 93 Winnebago Adventurer with 87K miles last Sept for 20K on rvonline.com.

Good luck with your endevor.

I would certainly trade in my used one myself. I wouldn't worry about 2 year old tires, that's what mine are.

I don't know how much if any credence to put into the term "lot rot" but wouldn't be shocked if a 2006 model was on the lot around June 2005 that would imply it's been sitting 3 years.

A lot has been written about how units that get used with some regularity tend to have fewer problems than those that sit in storage.

.... On the other hand it sounds like the unit is a good match for you and the price is at least VERY good if not Great.
