Already have our trip in for this year.

We went to Mobile AL, and then on to Panama City FL from our home in SEMO.

Approx 1600mi round trip. That was far enough. $$$$$

Just finished about 3500 mile round trip vacation. Gas cost was about 50 cents a mile. It was expensive, but lots of fun.

Wow, these are great. Maybe they will serve as inspiration for those who are concerned about fuel prices and they will JUST DO IT!

On the way from St. Augustine Florida to Anchorage Alaska, then down the Kenai and return home to FLorida. In Nashville today and heading to St. Louis, then Kansas City tomorrow. I figure 2-3 months..about 10-11K miles.

In August we're going from Edmonton, Ab to Yellowstone, then Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Disneyland, then up the Pacific Coast Highway to Washington, through Seattle maybe then up the Okanagan Valley in B.C., Banff, Jasper and back home. 17 day whirlwind tour...back just in time for the wee ones to go back to school. About 4600 miles.

So far the plan is to leave from Dillsburg PA July 18, to SA TX, to Grand Canyon, to Hoover Dam/LasVegas, to Denver, to Grand Teton, to Yellowstone, then......home? Fours weeks, afraid to count the miles and cost. GOING TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!
