comcast eliminated several of my cable channels and made them digital.can i buy a box to get them back and not have to pay a monthly charge for the box.

did they eliminate them from the tier that you subscribed to? If the only switch was from analog to digital signal, don't see why the conversion box wouldn't work?

Comcast is already digital so they probably cut back on your programming. But if you can pick up the channels off of your outside antenna you might be able to get them

they just cut 2 channels from being able to view them, they are just snow now. they also increased the cost several dollars at about the same time. i called them and they said i need a digital box and thats an extra monthly fee.

Are the digital channels scrambled or in the clear? If in the clear, a box with a QAM tuner will get them. If scrambled, they got YOU.

Suspect you have a cable ready analog TV and COMCAST moved some of your channels to digital only. You need either a box or a digital TV. This is just the begining.
