We just bought the TC this week and now our receiver is 13 inches behind the back end of the camper. I cannot afford a superhitch, nor do I think we need that much.
Has anyone ever used one of these....

And how did you find that it worked?
We only need to pull a 5x8 enclosed trailer. Nothing heavy.
For about $60 will this do what I need it to?

thats a adapter for different hitches with a dodge you should have a 2 in reciever
a welding shop can make you an extention or you can just buy one as an extention
so youd need a 14 in 2" to 2" reciever extention
try any local trailer place and if its rated more than the trailer is youll be fine those are 3500# total trailer weight so if its a single ale then youd be ok
just for saftey try to find one rated more than the trailer
oh and rednecktrailersupplies.com and buyersproducts.com have etentions but im sure theyre elseware too

Missy,
The extender cuts the tongue weight capacity down and pull capacity. I have one on my truck and works fine. Don't buy one too long (greater reductions) and remember your normal boat hitch will also make it extend further.

Weight wont really be an issue. We have a tiny 5x8 trailer that will only carry what we cannot
put in the TC when we head out for extended trips this winter. Loaded for bear last January the thing only weighed 2500 lbs.
I am getting that 14 in extender.
Thanks everyone.
