We are going to be in the MS Gulf area in Sept. Would like a clean campground VERY close to the intercoastal. Any recommendations?

Majestic Oaks on Pass Rd.Biloxi/Gulfport is probably the nicest one and closest to the beach and Casinos. Most of the others are near I-10. Nicely landscaped new park. Sites seem kinda tight but bearable. Steve A. Dagro

We stayed at Majestic Oaks in May--it's a very nice clean rv park. While the sites are close, there are plants and picnic tables between, so it is bearable. It is either a long walk or short ride to the beach! Also, the sand on the beaches is prettier now, although it is so sad to see what Katrina did there.

Hollywood casino in Bay St. Louis has a very nice casino. Silver Slipper casino in Waveland has a small campground directly on the beach, but the beach isn't much in Waveland. Its the closest you can get to the intracoastal waterway which is out in the gulf along the Mississippi coast.

There is a very nice federal park in Ocean Springs, Davis Bayou.
They do not take reservations but it is close to shopping etc.
Nice spacious sites for $16/nite.
