Just wondering what was thought about the KOA's now-a-days. The cost for a card seems high.
Thanks,
Bubba

Do the math. If you camp at KOA enough that the discount adds up to more than the cost of the card, then yes, it is worth it.
If not, it is not worth it.

But if you stay at KOA, you are usually paying too much anyway.

We have them and use them. Yes they are not the cheapest but we have had consistent positive experience staying there and thats worth the extra $ to us. If its not for you then don't do it.

On the average, If you stay at a KOA 10 or more days in a year, then it's worth it.

Will stay at Naples KOA next winter and the $24.00 card will save me $300. Plus we stay at KOA's to and from Florida and to and from our property in Thunder Bay. We figure the $24.00 card saves us about $350.00 per year.

Thanks. But I have heard that KOA's are usually run down, dirty restrooms etc. I'm not trying to bad mouth just trying to get some honest opinion. I do appreciate any input. We are planning a 4 month tour and have been told to stay away from KOA"s.
Thanks to all.

They can get away with charging more I don't think they are run down and dirty on average. Some of them? Sure. Most of them? No. Anytime you have an organization with probably a thousand CG's there are some lemons in the batch.
In fact every one we have stayed at from Florida to MA has been not only very clean but well maintained with friendly staff.
