No problem with the '06 Seneca. Bolts good and tight with over 12,000 miles on rig. Thanks again for the heads up.

Hmmmmm. Both of my passenger side tank strap bolts are backed out some...but wouldn't budge when I tried to tighten them with a crescent wrench.

I looked at mine the other day and noticed on pass. side that the two strap bolts were not flush with the frame. I stuck my hand on the other side and it had pleanty of thread. I am wondering if this is a jam nut and it is not supposed to be flush. I am thinking that the straps have tension on them and thats about it(similar to a hose clamp). I may take a photo and check with my medium duty dealer. Has any one actually contacted a MD dealer for this situation.

My strap bolts are in the same state, one side up tight and flush, the other backed out a little but tight. I believe tension is the answer. However this is not the only thing that holds the tank in, there are 2 bolts on each end that attach the tank to the cross members of the frame. If the strap bolts loosened the tank is still supported.
